A „Kaiser-Linden “ for the „Regenbogenland- Kindergarten“ in Nettetal-Kaldenkirchen
In the context of the „Children´s Gardening Days 2008” of the local preschools in September, we were visited by the catholic “Regenbogen-Kindergarten” of Nettetal-Kaldenkirchen.
They could already put their experiences into practice at the last weekend. Mr. Dieter Lappen had donated a big, approximately 30 years old Kaiser-Linden tree (Tilia europaea Pallida Typ Lappen) and it had to be planted then.
Mr. Lappen in concert with the children, their nurses and a lot of the parents planted the tree at the Kindergarten premises during the brilliant sunshine, a real magnificent and glorious weather, on Saturday, the 11th of October.
With a lot of singing and blithely dancing the children celebrated their new tree, which is a perfect shade cover on hot summer days and certainly a green umbrella on rainy days as well.
